Ice rinks are rarely architectural masterpieces, but Danish firm BIG have submitted this design for a new rink in a Sculpture Park in Umea, Sweden. It's a pretty amazing little design, although it does offer low ceilings which could be a problem. Of course, this is not for anything but public use... it is not designed to be the new home of Bjorkloven. Blog on the design here, while here's the BIG's page for the project.
